From the moment the pilots’ report time, the event emphasises realism. Flight packs containing OFPs, provisional load sheets among others are distributed ahead of each flight. Turnaround managers are appointed to each crew ensuring every shift runs like clockwork. Even the small details, such as fuel planning adjustments for active flow measures add layers of authenticity.

Pilots can interact with dispatchers, report to turnaround managers and coordinate with staff in our dedicated frequencies. When cruising at altitude, social voice channels provide a space for sociability whilst keeping the operation running smoothly. This intricate orchestration makes every participant feel like a key member of a living, breathing airline.

The Bidding System: Flight Allocation With Precision

For the first time ever, Speedbird24 has used the new SB24 bidding app. Allowing pilots to select shifts according to availability. Seniority determining allocation of flights, ensuring maximal realism.

Whether flying a short-haul sector or a long-haul trip, every participant contributes to a seamless operational flow. ATC, turnaround managers, dispatchers, and duty managers all play vital roles. Even the smallest details such as reporting times and using PDF flight packs instead of relying solely on SimBrief, enhancing the immersion.
