Flight Operations > Whazzup & Server Info Configuration

British Airways Virtual now allows you to view the schedules using the Whazzup program and the Server Info Utility.
This is an extra feature to supplement the Flight Board, and by using these programs you can pinpoint exactly where  BAV flights are in real time.
Pilots will have to make some small adjustments to the files within these programs and full instructions are detailed below.

Flight Operations | Crew Centre

Instructions for Whazzup
Visit the Whazzup website by clicking here.
Pilots should then download the latest version including the updated ICAO and server files.
Download the BAV server file here and then extract this into your main Whazzup folder.
Overwrite the existing file and then run the Whazzup program and then click on the network button.
This is indicated by the image on the left hand side.

Move your drop down to the schedules you wish to view and the program will then access the current flights that are airborne and the location of the flights. You must be connected to the Internet for this to function.
You may at any time switch to other BAV schedules as you wish or return to the VATSIM server.
The aircraft on the BAV schedules follow a standard movement and also fly at levels according to the Quadrantal rule.

Pilots note
This does not indicate that BAV pilots are currently flying these routes, it is a representation of current active flights within the BAV Flight database. We would like to thank the Technical department for making this possible and also we thank Enricco Schiratti for this utility.

Instructions for Server Info
To enable the BAV Flight Database to be viewed on Server Info, you need to perform the following actions.
Download the latest version of the OSP from Flight Operations
Download any additional updates and then install the program.

Once you are in the Server info program select from the options menu "Connection Parameters".
The screen you should be looking at is displayed below.
At the present moment you can only type in one extra connection, the author is looking at addressing this in future versions.
Type in the network name as BA Virtual, then type in the Locator Path URL, choose your button image and then return to the main Server Info screen and load the flight details by clicking on the BAV logo next to the VATSIM and IVAO images on the top left.

Locator Path URLs
These are a list of the URLS, these have no effect in the browser, only within the Server Info program.
