 ENTRANCE EXAMINATION

You will see from the "Pilot Requirements" section that new applicants for a BAV vacancy may be required to undergo a pilot entry test.
In this test you will be required to answer 20 random questions with multiple-choice answers.   A certain pass mark will be required.

To have a reasonable chance of passing this test, you should

(a) have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Flight Simulator, including the theory and practice of flight, default keyboard controls, etc.
You should be able to navigate and fly a commercial aircraft safely from A to B.   Using the FS tutorials will help considerably.

(b) have a knowledge of the BAV Operations Manual, available on our website.

You will not need any knowledge of advanced techniques such as online flight.

Do not worry if you do not pass the test.
Just make another application via the website and you will be allowed a re-test.
If you do not pass on the second occasion, then perhaps a two-month "study period" is required.

If you do not complete the test within 5 days of receiving it, then your application will be removed.

Good luck!
